PRAYER
Sometimes you hear someone say “we've done all we can. The only thing we
can do now is pray." Prayer really should be our first resort rather than
our last resort. Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer as a model prayer and Jesus
himself often went off to pray, setting an example for us to do the same.
When asked how her relationship with God got
so serious she said, “The Lord has worked many miracles in my life and over the
years I have learnt to appreciate the presence of the Holy Spirit”. She says now
she has a more than personal connection with the Lord, her days begin at 3:00 o’clock,
at which time she gets up brushes her teeth, washes her face a prepares for the
arrival of the Holy Spirit she then says that she spends at least two hours in deep
commune with him. She says this discipline and dedication are her main reasons
for such a deep relationship and that she will never stop until the day she
dies because the Lord has been amazing good to her and that is the least she can
give back to him.
So there we have two people who have dedicated their
lives to the Lord, based on what he has done for them. For many who feel it
might be too late it is never too late to share that deep connection with the Lord
as he is always there, ready and waiting to hears our cries.
